Raw Brewing Co. doesn't do filters. We're all about keeping it raw, baby. #welikeitraw. Just like our nationally available bottled kombucha, we say a big fat "nope" to fillers — whether they're proverbial or product-based. We've been in the booch game for nearly a decade, operating out of an 11,000 sf production facility, with the capacity to ferment, bottle, and can over a million containers per month. And you bet your booch we've picked up a few tricks and lessons along the way.
Lesson #1: Store-bought kombucha is a wallet-drainer, fresh is always best, and the closer you brew to where it's consumed, the better it is for both the environment and your pocketbook (thanks to reduced transportation and waste).
As a small, bootstrapped brewery that's been on a mission from the get-go, we're all about saving pennies and supporting our community — it's in our DNA. So when we had our Lesson #1 epiphany, we had to take a long, hard look in the mirror. We had to ask ourselves, "Who are we, Raw Brewing Co – Kombucha.com, and where do we fit in this fermentation revolution?"
